As a CT Technologist with our client, you’ll own advanced CT imaging on varied evening and overnight shifts, delivering the diagnostic studies physicians rely on for fast, accurate decisions.

You’ll balance technical precision with calm, steady patient care in a hospital setting that sees the full spectrum of conditions.

What You'll Work On

You’ll be hands-on with CT imaging in an acute-care environment, supporting radiologists and clinical teams across the hospital:

• Computed tomography studies for diagnostic interpretation
• CT imaging to support interventional procedures
• Emergency and urgent CT exams on varied shifts
• Inpatient and outpatient CT protocols
• Radiology department workflows and safety practices
• Direct patient contact throughout the imaging process
• Exposure control and universal precaution compliance

You’ll be working under the direction of a Lead CT Technologist in a well-equipped, well-lit, and well-ventilated hospital CT environment.

This is where your CT skills meet real, time-sensitive patient care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Utilizing CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation
• Following established CT scan protocols and adjusting techniques based on patient condition
• Recognizing patient conditions that are critical to safely and successfully completing procedures
• Providing quality, compassionate patient care before, during, and after CT exams
• Positioning patients accurately and safely for optimal image quality
• Adhering to universal precautions during frequent patient contact
• Meeting annual safety training and workplace safety requirements
• Maintaining compliance with health-testing requirements, including annual TB skin testing
• Lifting and moving patients and equipment as needed to support imaging procedures
• Working varied evening and overnight shifts (approximately 2:30 pm–11 pm and 11 pm–7 am)

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma plus completion of two years of formal training in an approved Radiological Technology school
• ARRT certification in Radiography
• ARRT certification in CT
• Current State of Rhode Island license in Radiologic Technology
• CPR certification, or the ability to obtain it within 3 months of hire
• At least six months of prior CT scan training or work experience
• Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings and overnights
• Comfort with prolonged periods of standing, walking, sitting, and occasional lifting of medium to heavy objects

There is a sign-on bonus opportunity of up to $15,000 for qualified candidates, recognizing the value of experienced CT technologists on varied shifts.

Important Requirements

Must be ARRT certified in Radiography and CT.

Must hold a current State of Rhode Island radiologic technologist license.

Must be CPR certified or obtain certification within 3 months of hire.

Must have at least six months of prior CT training or work experience.

Role involves varied shifts, including approximately 2:30 pm–11 pm and 11 pm–7 am.

Must meet annual safety and health-testing requirements, including TB skin test.
