SUMMARY:
SafeinHome, Inc. specializes in providing Remote Supports for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and Older Adults. Our Remote Supports Service provides a real-time connection to our trained Remote Supports staff available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The objective of SafeinHome Remote Supports is to promote autonomy and self-determination, independence, well-being, and inclusion for individuals while enabling them to stay connected with their desired support services remotely.
The HR Operations Clerk II will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative tasks to support the HR department and ensure smooth and efficient HR operations. This includes but is not limited to maintaining employee records, processing paperwork related to hiring and termination, assisting with payroll functions, coordinating employee benefits, and facilitating communication between HR staff and employees. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality are essential for success in this role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports core HR processes: Assists with recruitment, timekeeping, payroll, and performance management functions.
Manages HR documentation: Processes HR-related paperwork, including new hire documentation, employee changes, and separations, ensuring accuracy and promptness.
Maintains HR records: Maintains accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and other HR databases.
Administers benefits: Assists with the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Develops and enforces HR policies: Helps write, implement, track, and enforce HR policies, as directed by management.
Provides HR guidance: Responds to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
Coordinates HR initiatives: Assists with the coordination of HR-related events and initiatives, such as new hire orientations and employee training sessions.
Prepares reports and presentations: Prepares reports and presentations for HR management as needed.
Special projects: Assists with special HR projects as assigned.
Legal documentation: Works on legal documentation related to HR matters.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in recruiting sites such as Indeed or ZipRecruiter
- Prior Human Resource experience required (One year minimum)
- Management experience or a associates degree in a related area is preferred.
