Position Overview

We are on the lookout for an empathetic and accomplished Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-notch imaging services. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct an array of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, ensuring to explain procedures with empathy and clarity
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to generate high-quality diagnostic images
• Maintain and responsibly operate imaging equipment, and report any technical issues without delay
• Document procedures thoroughly and maintain patient records accurately within the electronic medical record system
• Remain knowledgeable about advancements in ultrasound imaging technology and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• A CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program completion is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
