Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient-specific goals and required interventions.
• Manage a patient caseload of one individual per hour, allowing for focused and personalized attention.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities including manual therapy and exercise interventions.
• Reduce the reliance on medications by offering alternative pain management strategies and therapy techniques.
• Guide patients in establishing fitness and wellness plans that promote long-term health and recovery.
• Document all patient care services and maintain accurate records for ongoing evaluation and billing purposes.
• Motivate patients to adhere to their treatment protocols and encourage them throughout their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive management for our patient population, attending multidisciplinary meetings as necessary.
• Regularly assess treatment outcomes and adjust strategies to maximize patient progress and satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our patients range from active individuals seeking to regain their physical capacity to seniors aiming to maintain their mobility and independence. Understanding the specific challenges and motivations of our patient population is essential, as each case presents distinct needs that require thoughtful intervention and supports our commitment to individualized care.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• Demonstrated commitment to maintaining an exemplary professional record with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing individualized exercise protocols.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, allowing for effective patient education and collaboration with team members.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Advanced knowledge and utilization of evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
