For a limited time, Maine Medical Center is offering up to $3,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible Pharmacy Technicians!

o Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time Pharmacy Technician position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

o Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:
The Pharmacy Technician role will function in a training capacity, working alongside a trainer/mentor while completing their job responsibilities in their respective pharmacy practice area. The role will assist pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and the care team in the storage, distribution, preparation, and handling of medications within MaineHealth. The Pharmacy Technician will only perform competencies that they have completed in their knowledge-based courses and on the job training and are qualified to perform alongside a technician trainer/mentor or pharmacist.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. License/Certifications: Current or eligible for applicable state(s) license as a Pharmacy Technician.
3. Experience: None required
4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Proficient computer skills

The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package.

The pay range for this position is $20.68 to $25.10 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
