The Role

Our client, an established, mission-driven technology company, is hiring a Senior Accountant to own core month-end close responsibilities on a lean, collaborative team, working closely with the Controller.

What You'll Do

- Own month-end and quarter-end close tasks

- Prepare journal entries, including accruals, prepaids and allocations

- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances

- Perform monthly variance analysis (actual vs. budget and prior period)

- Support financial statements, management reporting and the annual audit

What You Bring

- Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA progress a plus (but not required)

- 3+ years of experience in industry, public accounting or both

- Hands-on experience with close, reconciliations, journal entries and variance analysis

- Solid U.S. GAAP knowledge and strong Excel skills

- Detail-oriented, organized and eager to learn and grow
