Busser - Part Time

Responsible for clearing plates and re-setting the table in a timely manner, as well as maintaining full water glasses and bread, if applicable.

Adheres to Sycamore's Policies and Procedures.

Acts as a role model within and outside Sycamore.

Maintains a positive and respectful attitude with coworkers and customers.

Consistently reports to work on time prepared to perform duties of position.

Participates in monthly safety training.

Demonstrates honesty, integrity and professionalism at all times.

Clearing plates during service and after guests have departed.

Serving water upon guest arrival.

Refill waters and bread throughout service.

Resetting the table.

Maintaining a clean work space.

Completing check list before end of shift.

Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

Must be able to work holidays, weekends and evenings.

California Food Handler card and Responsible Beverage Service training.

Excellent customer service skills.

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.

Bilingual skill is a plus.

Basic typing skills and ability to operate standard office equipment including: copier, fax, telephone, calculator, etc.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, POS and Payroll systems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

Calculate figures and amounts.

Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to work in stressful situations.

Stand and walk for long periods of time or an entire shift, repetitive motions, climb stairs, balance, stoop, squat, bend, twist, kneel, reach, grasp and squeeze with both hands. Talk or hear; taste or smell.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move, carry, push and pull up to 30lbs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time; temperature may fluctuate. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.

Work conditions include exposure to scents and mineral water sulfur odor.
