$10.75 to $13.00 per hour. We offer an easily achievable commission structure that pays you for every transaction you processed. Access to the FirstCash Pet Insurance program. Position Summary We are seeking entry‑level, full‑time sales associates to work in our pawn store locations nationwide. The pawnbroker / retail sales associate partners with the entire staff to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. They greet, engage, and interact with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The associate will handle a broad range of merchandise, including jewelry, tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations), and more. Responsibilities Greets and interacts with all customers to develop rapport and recommend appropriate financial solutions. Performs non‑management open/close procedures. Maintains a clean, stocked sales floor and displays merchandise properly. Processes sales and loan transactions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Handles all cash and negotiable items in accordance with established policies. Answers incoming calls per company standards. Communicates the legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions to customers. Communicates effectively with coworkers and managers, displaying respect and using effective communication tools. Partners with all employees to create a positive and memorable customer experience. Successfully completes assigned training. Other related duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds. Must be willing and able to perform duties for extended periods of time, including standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified. May be asked to assist a customer on the exterior of the building or retrieve products stored in exterior areas. Minimum age 18 years old. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to work, serve customers, work with people, and be team‑oriented. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment. Proficient in basic math calculations. Cash handling experience preferred. Ability to work multiple locations as business needs dictate. Must have the ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Commission Plan Information Our commission incentive plan is proprietary. Pawnbrokers can earn 2–8% commission based on the gross profit of their personal performance.
