Pathologist Assistant – LosAngeles, CA. 1‑Year contract position with potential flexibility in hours (9am‑8:30pm). Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Consulting Pathologist Assistant to support our Anatomic Pathology team. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Chief of Anatomic Pathology, Director of Operations, and/or the Clinical Specialist – Supervisor. Responsibilities Describe, photograph, and gross specimens, and assist with frozen sections. Prepare and maintain protocols, procedures, reports, data, and instruments. Assist with administrative functions, including budgetary tasks, teaching, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Completion of a Pathologist’s Assistant program accredited by the NAACLS. At least one year of experience working as a Pathologist’s Assistant. Eligibility for PA(ASCP) certification within 12months of hire; certification not required at the time of hire. Currently working as a Pathologist’s Assistant.
