Machine Operator 1st Shift ($17-18/hr.)

Job Description

Join our team as a Machine Operator where you will be responsible for operating stamping machines to produce metal parts. This position offers a dynamic work schedule with shifts from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and 4:30 pm to 4:00 am, Monday through Thursday. Responsibilities

• Operate stamping machines that produce metal parts.
• Utilize micrometers, calipers, and gages for accurate measurements.
• Read and interpret work orders and prints to ensure proper machine operation.
• Communicate with the Production Supervisor via intranet, email, telephone, or personal conversation.
• Coordinate specific needs with the Material Handler.
• Report any miss-hits or problems to the Production Supervisor.
• Log labor times and part counts to appropriate work orders.
• Attend the press at all times during operation.
• Troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley City, OH.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
