MRI Technologist

Role Performs magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in accordance with standards, policies, and organizational values. Responsibilities Reviews patient history, schedules appointments, and educates patients about procedures to ensure cooperation. Prepares and administers contrast media or medications within scope, monitoring patient condition and reporting changes. Prepares equipment, selects imaging parameters, implements safety standards, and troubleshoots equipment issues. Positions patients, performs imaging procedures, analyzes results, and addresses image quality problems. Works with critical thinking and judgment in a fast-paced environment, often with minimal supervision. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Registered as an RT and MRI technologist or eligible with completion within 12 months. Current BLS certification through recognized organizations.
