Technical Lead – Identity & Biometric Solutions
W2 only | Austin, TX (Hybrid: M/W/Th onsite) | 8–5 (flex) | 15–20% travel
Role Overview
Client-facing Technical Lead responsible for solution design and implementation of complex systems. This is not a coding or PM role —it focuses on translating customer needs into scalable solutions and guiding engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead solution design, architecture, and implementation
- Translate business needs into technical requirements
- Support presales, demos, and customer workshops
- Provide estimates and ensure delivery quality
- Collaborate with PMs and cross-functional teams
Requirements
- 8+ years in software engineering / solution design
- Strong in Java,.NET, APIs, databases
- Cloud experience (AWS preferred)
- Experience with Jira/Confluence
- Excellent client-facing communication skills
Must Have
- U.S. Citizen (or Dual Citizen) with valid passport
- Able to travel (US/Canada)
Nice to Have
- Identity, Security, or Biometric solutions experience
- Prior technical/project leadership exposure
