Job DetailsJob Location: The Prestwick Group - Sussex, WI 53089Salary Range: $22.50 HourlyJob Shift: First ShiftPurpose of Position:To work with a team using machinery and other tools to cut high-quality furnishings while helping achieve company goals and KPIs. Position Overview: Prestwick Fabricators are responsible for manufacturing the raw stock for our products using a variety of machinery and equipment. They must ensure that the parts they cut are produced in a way that is efficient, safe, timely, and focused on quality. The Fabricators must also update the Production Supervisor or Production Manager regarding any issues or needs that may arise during the process. The following are some of the expectations and responsibilities of this position. Duties and Responsibilities: Reviews provided information and prints and pull correct parts, cuts to length, and machines parts per requirements using the necessary/established steps. Maintains work area and organizes and puts away tools, supplies, and materials in the assigned locations. Communicate with leadership and other team members regarding problems, concerns, status, and improvement ideas. Seeks to improve job knowledge. Follows all safety requirements, work rules, and company policies. Assists in all other operations departments as required. ** This position is responsible for but not limited to all the tasks and duties listed above ** What Success Looks Like: Producing high-quality parts on time while being a team player and having a positive attitude. QualificationsSkills and Qualifications: Can read a tape measure. Has a superior understanding of technical drawings and bills of materials. Good communication skills. Ability to operate various pieces of equipment, such as table saws, drill presses, and shapers. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Often required to reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Ability to complete repetitive tasks.
