The Phillip Charles Group has been servicing the local Metro Detroit area for the past 30 years and has built incredibly strong partnerships with our clients, candidates, and employees. We have worked with our current client for the past 16 years and they are looking for a Shipping & Administrative Coordinator for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity based out of their Wayne, MI location.

• Coordinate and process daily inbound and outbound shipments.
• Prepare shipping documentation, labels, bills of lading, and other required paperwork.
• Verify shipments for accuracy and ensure orders are completed on time.
• Maintain accurate shipping records and enter data into company systems.
• Assist with inventory tracking and material movement.
• Support purchasing activities, including processing purchase orders and communicating with vendors.
• Perform general administrative and office support duties.
• Crosstrain and provide backup support for coworkers as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete additional tasks and special projects as assigned.

• Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous shipping and receiving experience preferred.
• Quality assurance or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn company software.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
