Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Schedule: Every other weekend or 4 weekend shifts per month, with staffing ratios of 1:9 for all shifts.

Assignment Details: Float required to other medical/surgical units. Contract details include 37 beds on the unit.

Requirements:

• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required
• 2 years of experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients with a variety of diagnoses including respiratory, cardiac, GI, and neuro disorders.
• Work as part of a team consisting of an RN, LPN, and PCT for patient assignments.
• Participate in modified team management when complete teams are not available.
• Monitor and manage patient care effectively during shifts.
• Adhere to facility protocols and care delivery models.
