Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Maryville, TN

Job Type: Contract

Shift: 3x12 Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Job Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide high-quality respiratory care services to adult patients in critical care and emergency department settings. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience and be proficient in advanced respiratory therapy procedures.

Required Qualifications

Active Tennessee Respiratory Therapist License Required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential Required
Current BLS Certification
Current ACLS Certification
Current PALS Certification
Current NRP Certification
Minimum 2 Years of Recent RRT Experience
Minimum 1 Year of EPIC Experience Required
Adult Critical Care Experience Required
Emergency Department Experience Required

Responsibilities

Assess, treat, and monitor patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary conditions.
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments.
Manage and monitor ventilated patients.
Perform airway management and respiratory interventions.
Assist with emergency response situations and critical care procedures.
Monitor patient response to therapy and communicate changes to the healthcare team.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR.
Ensure compliance with respiratory care standards and patient safety protocols.
Educate patients and families regarding respiratory treatments and therapies.
