Soccer Shots Kalamazoo is in need of great part-time instructors. We operate in daycares, preschools, community centers, and parks all over Kalamazoo, Portage and surrounding area. Classes are Monday through Saturday, 30-45 min for each session. We provide training, soccer equipment, and all curriculum materials. We offer rewarding work in a great environment with the opportunity to inspire the youth soccer players of the community. At some centers, there will be multiple classes, meaning you will be instructing 2-3 consecutive sessions.
The ideal instructor MUST meet the following criteria:
- Safety-conscious, your #1 priority is the safety of children under your care.
- Caring, you engage with each child through specific and positive affirmation.
- Organized, you plan ahead and are systematic in routine, conducting each session according to the lesson plan and working with children to maintain appropriate order for the age group.
- Responsible, you are committed to doing what is expected as the coach and "face" of Soccer Shots.
- Energetic, you bring Soccer Shots to life by creating a fun and exciting atmosphere that leads a child to smile and participate.
- In addition to the above, a successful candidate must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and Background Check.
