About the Position

Job Title

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Nights (Float Pool)

Tucson, Arizona

Schedule / Job Type

Contract – 13 Weeks | Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week | 48-hour guarantee considered | Six weekend shifts per six-week schedule

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on Medical/Surgical Telemetry units with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Float between multiple facilities within the same healthcare system as part of a float pool assignment
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately within the electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Medical/Surgical Telemetry nursing experience
• Willingness and ability to float between multiple facilities within the healthcare system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Prior travel nursing or float pool experience
