Intellectual Property Associate - Trademark and Copyright

Job Overview A law firm seeks a talented and motivated Intellectual Property Associate with 2 to 4 years of experience in New York, New York. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AI, copyright, trademark, trade secret, and/or false advertising law to join their intellectual property/technology litigation practice. Duties Manage intellectual property/technology litigation and enforcement matters. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver legal solutions. Develop strategies for complex litigation and enforcement actions. Counsel clients on legal risks related to product development. Conduct legal research and analysis with strong writing skills. Manage the discovery phase of litigation, including e-discovery. Exhibit excellent verbal communication skills. Exhibit excellent verbal communication skills. Demonstrate strong client-facing skills and teamwork. Requirements 2 to 4 years of experience in AI, trademark, copyright, false advertising, and/or trade-secret law. Strong understanding of the Lanham Act, the Copyright Act, the DMCA, and computer-access laws such as the CFAA. Trial experience is preferred. Willingness to engage with a broad range of laws and legal principles. Highly motivated with excellent academic credentials. Superior writing and communication skills. Membership in the state bar where applying is required. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. Certifications State Bar membership. Skills Strong legal research and writing skills.
