Job Title: RN MS/Tele (Ortho) Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 1 Year Required License: Must have an active state or multistate license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Experience in Orthopedic Care Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in MS/Tele with a focus on Orthopedic care. The nurse will work on a 26-bed orthopedic spine unit. Patient care will consist of individuals recovering from spinal surgeries such as laminectomies, spinal fusions, and discectomies. The unit emphasizes integrated pain management, physical therapy, and mobility support. Patient diagnoses include medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac conditions, and other related issues. The nurse will be responsible for managing a patient ratio of 1:5-6. Floating to other units may be required on occasion based on unit needs. Candidates must have experience with the EPIC charting system. Certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS are required for this position. Orthopedic experience is essential for successful candidates. The position may require participation in additional procedures such as bedside lumbar punctures and post-surgical care. Support services available include IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. This role aims to provide high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment.
