Moseley Technical Services is currently hiring a Buyer II to support defense manufacturing and supply chain operations in Sterling Heights, MI for a 1+ year contract. This role requires knowledge of Oracle ERP, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), procurement processes, RFQs, RFPs, cost and price analysis, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management to support program cost, quality, and delivery requirements.

Qualifications:

• US Citizenship Required
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance if required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• Knowledge of Oracle ERP systems and associated business applications.
• Experience conducting procurement cost and price analyses, including preparation of supporting documentation.
• Understanding of procurement processes, purchasing systems, and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Ability to manage purchase order activities, supplier relationships, purchasing priorities, and multiple procurement requirements.
• Willingness to travel domestically and potentially internationally, up to 20% as required.
• Ability to work outside regular business hours to address critical program or procurement issues. (Project driven work flow).
