Cardiologists specialize in diagnosing and treating heart and vascular conditions. Key responsibilities include conducting cardiovascular examinations and tests, diagnosing heart-related diseases and conditions, developing treatment plans, including medication and lifestyle changes, and collaborating with surgeons for procedures when necessary.

Requirements: MD or DO degree. Completion of internal medicine residency and cardiology fellowship. Board certification in cardiology. Strong analytical skills for interpreting diagnostic tests. Excellent communication skills for patient interaction.
