Position Overview
Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)


Description:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and other imaging studies, as assigned.
• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and explain the process to help ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment safely and effectively.
• Follow physician orders and established protocols when performing imaging procedures.
• Position patients correctly to obtain clear, diagnostic-quality images.
• Practice appropriate radiation safety and infection control procedures.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
• Assist with imaging procedures for oncology patients as needed.
