Tester 3rd shift (Sunday Thursday 1000 PM 630 AM)

Essential Functions:

• Usespecialty measuring equipment to test industrial HVAC units.

• Troubleshoot electrical/mechanical/refrigeration issues.

• Keeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.

• Change out refrigerant tanks and othergases.

• Working knowledge of electrical schematics and electro-mechanical components.

• Must be capable of lifting the use of lifting equipment.

• Must have a working knowledge of brazing equipment and common hand tool useincludingmeasuring equipment.

• Perform pre-testunit inspections.

• Complete unit paperwork and QC checklist.

• Work involves varying degrees of precision and control where damage could be caused by lack of required skill.

• Reportdefective equipment to Supervisor.

Safety Responsibilities:

• Gain knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation as well as plant safety rules to perform duties safely and in compliance with allKCCrules and regulations.

• Participate intoolbox talks & monthly training.

• Take every reasonable precaution for the protection ofyourcoworkers.

• Take immediate action to address unsafe acts or conditions and report issues tomanagement.

• Assist inaccident investigations(as needed)to identify the root cause in a timely manner.

• Complete accident and incident reports(near miss)in a timely manner.

Position Type/ Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position working 8 hours per day with possible overtime.

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Strong electrical background
