Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education teaching license, with eligibility to work in the state
• Experience working with cross-categorical or multi-categorical student populations preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general educators, paraprofessionals, and family members
• Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Commitment to fostering inclusion and promoting student achievement

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with diverse needs
• Modify curriculum and instruction to support a range of learning abilities within the classroom
• Utilize research-based interventions and assessment tools to track student growth
• Create an engaging, supportive classroom atmosphere with a focus on positive behavior support
• Work closely with support staff and related service providers to ensure holistic student support
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and participate in IEP meetings
