Precision Metal Fabrication Line Operator Make precision happen

Own the flow of metal parts from setup to shipment with accuracy, safety, and speed.

Your impact

• Set up, adjust, and maintain the Upright Line rolling line and the lower duty line to meet exact production specifications.
• Run metalworking presses and forming equipment to cut, form, and shape steel into precision components.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to guide each run.
• Verify dimensions and tolerances with precision measuring instruments and gauges.
• Execute assembly, packaging, and material handling to keep WIP and finished goods moving.
• Use PC-based systems for real-time data entry and production guidance.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and complete minor repairs to sustain uptime.
• When certified and authorized, carry out welding tasks to support production schedules.
• Operate hand tools, mechanized tools, and material handling equipment, including trolleys.
• Maintain production logs, inventory records, and all required documentation.

Compliance & accountability

• Follow work and technological procedures aligned with IMS and OHS standards.
• Apply metrological care and the correct handling of materials, products, machines, and tools.
• Segregate and process non-conforming product per established protocols.
• Keep the work area clean and organized using manual and mechanized methods.
• Champion energy efficiency practices at your workstation, machine, and equipment.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by your supervisor to meet operational goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical training preferred.
• Prior experience with stamping presses, roll forming, and general manufacturing operations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings; strong mechanical aptitude; proficiency with precision measuring tools.
• Capable of standing for extended periods, lifting moderate loads, and working on a production floor.
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and adept at solving problems.
