CNC Machinists- Multiple Shifts & Locations Job Category: Production Requisition Number: CNCMA006456 Full-Time Locations Our US locations include: East Granby, CT East Hartford, CT Lansing, MI West Chester, OH What You'll Do Operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC milling and/or turning machines Run multiple machines simultaneously as part of manufacturing cells or machining centers Machine hard metals such as Inconel, titanium, and stainless steel Load parts and fixtures using hoists and safely position workpieces in machines Make program-required offsets and adjustments using Fanuc controls Read and interpret CNC programs at the machine Set up tools using tool sheets and ensure proper configuration Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure conformance to specifications What You'll Bring High school diploma or GED Experience setting up and changing over jobs on CNC equipment Ability to read English and interpret symbols on operation sheets Strong communication and problem-solving skills with ability to work collaboratively Proficiency in mathematics and calculator use Experience making offsets at the machine Ability to read and understand CNC programs Experience setting up and using machining tools and fixtures Proficiency with precision measuring equipment, including gauges, swing gauges, calipers, and micrometers Familiarity with right-angle head operations Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Ability to work within tight tolerances (thousandths of an inch) Preferred Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing 3+ years of experience operating CNC multi-axis milling machines Benefits Competitive wages, shift differentials, 401(k) savings plan, paid time off, holidays, and more Export Control Notice This position may include access to controlled information or technology covered under applicable U.S. export control laws.
