Make an impact in the lives of high school and elementary students by joining a dedicated team of professionals working near Springfield, OR. This contract position offers the opportunity to split your workweek between two high schools and one elementary school, supporting a caseload of approximately 33 students in life skills programs. Your primary campuses will be Westmoreland, focusing on special education, and Lane Schools, emphasizing socialization support. This full-time role spans from September 8, 2026, to June 17, 2027, with a consistent schedule of 40 hours each week.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Active SLP license and SLP-CCC credentials required
• Previous experience supporting students in school settings preferred
• Familiarity with AAC devices and feeding/swallowing (safe eating) is a plus, but not required—training is available
• Compassion for students with a variety of learning and life skill needs
• Strong collaboration skills to work alongside SPED personnel, paraprofessionals, and in-person assistants

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language services in line with students' IEP goals
• Support life skills programming for a diverse caseload across two campuses
• Collaborate closely with teachers, special education staff, and para support
• Participate in monthly and virtual consultations with an established SLP team of 12 professionals
• Maintain clear documentation and communication with families and school stakeholders
