Orthopedic Physician Assistant

Elios Healthcare is partnering with a well established orthopedic practice to recruit an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to support a highly respected sports medicine orthopedic surgeon. The physician specializes in sports medicine, shoulder, knee, and total joint procedures . Their current Physician Assistant has been with them for more than 20 years, a testament to the culture, leadership, and quality of the practice. Due to continued growth, they are adding a second Physician Assistant to support both the clinic and operating room. Responsibilities First assist in orthopedic surgical procedures Evaluate and treat patients in the outpatient clinic Develop treatment plans alongside the orthopedic surgeon Provide preoperative and postoperative patient care Participate in approximately 3 to 4 days of call per month Provide sideline sports medicine coverage on Friday evenings during the local high school football season Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program NCCPA certification Eligible for or licensed as a Physician Assistant in Georgia Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred, but motivated new graduates with strong orthopedic rotations are encouraged to apply This organization offers an outstanding compensation and benefits package, including: Paid health insurance Paid long term disability insurance Paid life insurance Additional voluntary insurance options Exceptional retirement plan featuring: 3% Safe Harbor contribution Company match up to 6% Discretionary profit sharing contribution typically between 2.5% and 3% Employees contributing 6% receive a total company contribution of approximately 11.5% to 12% Six year vesting schedule Eligibility begins after one year of employment on the next January 1 or July 1 entry date If you\'re looking to join a physician led orthopedic practice where providers build long term careers, this is an exceptional opportunity.
