Maintenance Technician

A Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment and machinery to ensure smooth production operations. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and minimizing equipment downtime in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures and complete timely repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, motors, pumps, PLCs, and automated systems.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before breakdowns occur.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with production teams to improve machine efficiency and uptime.
• Assist with installation and setup of new equipment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and automation systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or rotating shifts as needed.
