Statistical Programmer III/IV

To provide statistical programming expertise within the Statistical Center for HIV/AIDS Research and Prevention, the full-time remote Statistical Programmer III/IV will coordinate with statisticians to write efficient, reusable code for data analysis and reporting while managing analysis datasets and ensuring data quality. Key responsibilities Gather and document requirements for developing or modifying programs and systems Generate, document, and maintain analysis datasets while creating ad hoc and study-specific reports Contribute to mentoring and training of junior Statistical Programmers and may supervise as needed Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field 4-5 years of experience in SAS or R programming, with knowledge of clinical trials research data Advanced programming skills in SAS or R, including experience with reporting and macro/package development Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in a matrix management environment Experience with data wrangling/transformation in a health-related field
