We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Buyer Material Planner to support purchasing and supply chain operations at our clients Jacksonville, Texas manufacturing facility.

Buyer Material Planner Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $33.00 to $34.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

• Source and purchase materials to support production and operational needs.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and purchasing terms.
• Monitor inventory levels and support planning activities.
• Utilize ERP systems to create purchase orders and track material requirements.
• Identify new sourcing opportunities and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Maintain procurement records and supplier performance data.

Buyer Material Planner Qualifications:

• 3+ years’ experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or materials management in a manufacturing environment.
• Manufacturing industry experience required.
• Knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning), inventory management and supply chain processes.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle EBS, or AS400 is highly required.
• Previous background in contracts management, inventory control, production planning, or merchandising is helpful.
• Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
