Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience

License: RN License required

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Certification, GRH CPI/MOAB

Must-Have: EPIC EMR Experience in a similar unit within the last 12 months

Description: The traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance. A basic dysrhythmia test will be given during the first week of the assignment. This test must be passed in order to work on the telemetry/med-surg unit. Delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinates care with other health team members. Effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and health team members while maintaining high standards of professional nursing. Provides high-quality care to patient populations, including geriatric, medical/surgical, adult, and telemetry. Positions are available on the medical surgical unit and telemetry unit. The estimated work week is 36 hours, with the possibility of overtime. The traveler may be required to float to additional campuses. The traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips and passing the basic dysrhythmia test to work on the unit. ACLS certification is required. Every other weekend rotation in the acute care unit is expected.
