Summary Twin Falls High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our coaching staff as an Assistant Football Coach for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of football fundamentals and a commitment to fostering a positive and competitive environment for student-athletes. This seasonal position offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of young players and help lead the team towards success. Responsibilities Assist the head coach in planning and implementing effective practice sessions and game strategies. Support the development of athletes’ skills through individual coaching and group drills. Monitor and evaluate player performance during practices and games, providing constructive feedback. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive attitude among players. Help manage team logistics, including equipment maintenance and travel arrangements. Collaborate with other coaching staff to ensure a cohesive approach to training and competition. Communicate regularly with players, parents, and school administration regarding team policies, schedules, and expectations. Assist in scouting and analyzing opposing teams to prepare for upcoming games. Uphold and enforce all school policies and regulations related to athletics and student conduct. Attend staff meetings, coaching clinics, and professional development opportunities as required. Requirements Previous coaching experience at the high school level or higher is preferred. Strong knowledge of football strategies, rules, and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire student-athletes. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other coaches and staff. CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain prior to the season. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed during the season. A commitment to the academic and personal development of student-athletes. Background check clearance as required by school district policies. At‑Will Employment This is an "at will" position in that the employer or employee may terminate employment at any time for any reason consistent with applicable state or federal law. The employment "at will" policy cannot be changed verbally or in writing, unless the change is specifically authorized in writing and approved by the Board of Trustees of District 411.
