Facilities Mailroom and Warehouse Student Worker Job Summary: This role will be supporting the facilities management mailroom and receiving & distribution center. Warehouse Job Duties: Receives, unpacks, checks, and records the receipt of goods. Stores goods in proper storage places. Receives delivery orders. Withdraw goods from stock. Checking for required commodity, size, and lot. Receives signed delivery ticket. Assist with assembling stock items in accordance with a computerized requisition. Assist with packing shipments and loading goods. Mailroom Job Duties: Assist with Delivery of mail stops at University Departments. Assist full time clerks with large mailings: non-automated presort standard, nonprofit, and periodicals. Return and sort mail for university offices. Do tabbing for both automated and non-automated mailings. Assist in the redirection of mail for students who have move to another room or off campus. Assist in the Picking up of packages or envelopes. Act as messenger when required to pick up package or envelopes from campus departments. Job Requirements: Current ESU Student Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 40lbs. Basic computer skills. Experience in customer service. Ability to skillfully complete clerical work. Additional Information: Hourly Rate $15.00 Employment Eligibility & University Commitment Must be at least 18 years old and have English literacy skills.
