This role is located in Reno, Nevada and is an on-site position. Salary range: $63,440.00 – $82,000.00. Job Overview Perform Human Resources related duties at a professional level, encompassing recruiting, employee relations, employment and training. The position does not carry supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Partner with employees and management to communicate HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations. Maintain compliance with federal and state employment regulations. Source candidates, screen, and recruit applicants for entry level, professional and technical openings. Review applications and conduct interviews to match experience with job requirements. Conduct new hire orientation and benefits orientation for employees. Perform benefits administration, including change reporting and communicating benefit information. Facilitate and/or provide workforce training. Maintain and coordinate employee recognition programs. Respond to employee relations issues such as complaints, harassment allegations, and civil rights complaints. Conduct exit interviews, analyze data, and recommend corrective actions for continuous improvement. Represent the company for unemployment claims. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Education Required High School or GED. Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four‑year college or university preferred. Minimum of three years of related experience. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required. Competencies Objective coaching of employees and management through complex, difficult, and emotional issues. Recommendation making consistent with standards, policies, regulations, and government law. Problem solving: identify and resolve problems timely, gather and analyze information, develop alternative solutions, work well in group settings, and use reason with emotional topics. Interpersonal skills: focus on conflict resolution, maintain confidentiality, listen without interruption, control emotions, and remain open to new ideas. Oral communication: speak clearly and persuasively, listen and clarify, respond to questions, and participate in meetings. Leadership: exhibit confidence, inspire and motivate others, influence actions and opinions, accept feedback, and give appropriate recognition.
