Responsibilities
- Schedule, lead, and coordinate the daily activities of a defined unit on the assigned shift.
- Oversee delivery of optimal, safe, and high-quality nursing care while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Provide leadership to staff as a resource, role model, mentor, and change agent for the assigned department.
- Direct and supervise a team of nurses and support staff, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations and to policies and accepted nursing protocols.
- Coordinate services with other patient care units to ensure patient flow; provide direct specialty nursing services as appropriate.
- Assist the department manager in achieving unit and organizational goals; supervise personnel across multiple levels using professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Oregon.
- Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience in a hospital/acute care setting.
- Completion of an approved RN education program (licensure and eligibility to practice as an RN in Oregon).
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards, regulatory requirements, and patient care protocols.
