Job Description

You will be working in an established metal fabrication focusing primarily on large mild steel projects for the commercial construction, agricultural, and data center projects. Projects may include data center frameworks, machinery stands, platforms, columns, beams, and other enclosures for various industries. Job duties include:

• Work from blueprints and weld symbols to custom parts to specifications

• Fit and tack projects into place prior to finishing welds

• MIG weld mild steel projects using 035 and 045 wire

• Used overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials

• Grinded and inspected finished welds

Hours: 6:00AM to 4:00PM ; Monday - Thursday + OT on Friday

Responsibilities

• Work from blueprints and weld symbols to build custom weldments and projects

• Fit custom projects and tack parts into place prior to finishing welds

• Use MIG and FCAW welding processes on a daily basis

• Use overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials

• Grind and inspect finished welds to ensure work is completed accurately

Requirements:

• 1 year of welding experience OR technical welding degree required

• 2+ years of welding experience preferred but not required

• Ability to read and work from blueprints and weld symbols

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Neenah, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $31.50/hr.
