Maintenance Planner

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement maintenance plans for the plant's equipment, including machinery, conveyors, batch plants, and other infrastructure.

Oversee and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability.

Address equipment failures, diagnose issues, and coordinate repairs, either directly or through a team of mechanics.

Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment.

Supervise maintenance staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.

Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to safety standards and regulations, and that equipment is maintained to the highest quality standards.

Manage the maintenance budget effectively, ensuring cost-effective repairs and maintenance.

Communicate effectively with plant management, production staff, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment failures, and repairs.

Develop relationships with maintenance vendors and suppliers to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery of parts and supplies.

Identify areas for improvement in maintenance practices and procedures to optimize equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
