The ideal Career Services Advisor will possess experience in any of the following fields:
• Social Media Research
• Student Job placement
• Contact employers
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office software (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)
• Experience supporting a team
• Organizational skills

The Career Services Advisor will be responsible for providing support to all Miami Students.

Responsibilities will include:
• Interact with employers via email, telephonically, and through social media
• Research job opportunities
• Work with team to identify student career needs
• Collect documentation
• Attend meetings
• Make Presentations
Requirements
• 1 year of Administrative Support
• At least 1 year of college credits completed
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• MUST have prior e xperience in Career Services and student job placement
• Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, oral and written
• Resourceful self-starter who works independently with little or no supervision
• Great presentation skills
• Comfortable being measured and being held accountable for goals
• Experience with social media and job boards
• Positive and clear communication skills
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office programs
