Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Onsite | Rotating Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) | 36–48 hours per week | Weekends, Holidays, and On-Call per Unit Need

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on an orthopedic unit specializing in orthopedic trauma, spinal surgery, and elective orthopedic surgical diagnoses
• Utilize telemetry monitoring skills as part of ongoing patient assessment and care
• Demonstrate strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure positive patient outcomes
• Float and fulfill charge nurse responsibilities as needed per unit requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Orthopedic nursing experience required
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – American Heart Association only
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification – American Heart Association only

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level 1 trauma facility
• Familiarity with research-driven or academically affiliated clinical environments
