About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Atlanta, GA. This opportunity is ideal for highly skilled OR nurses with extensive experience across multiple surgical specialties in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

• No local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
• Must be comfortable working in a diverse, high-volume surgical setting

Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care
• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and surgical supplies
• Assist surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
• Monitor patients throughout the perioperative process
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety standards
• Accurately document patient care and surgical activities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Requirements

✅ Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room (OR) experience
• AHA BLS Certification required
• AHA ACLS Certification preferred
• Active RN License
• Strong perioperative nursing skills and surgical case management experience

Required Surgical Expertise:
Candidates must have experience assisting with a wide variety of surgical procedures, including:
• Robotics
• Neurosurgery
• Orthopedics
• Plastic Surgery
• Gynecology
• General Surgery and other specialty cases
