Job Description Summary

Provides front desk administrative support to ensure efficient clinic operations and a positive patient experience, including appointment scheduling, registration, phone management, payment collection, interpreter coordination, and billing support.

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Work Shift

Clinic Hours of Operation:

  • Specialty Clinics: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • After-Hours Care: Monday Friday, 3:00 PM 10:00 PM; Weekends & Holidays, 12:00 AM 7:00 PM

Work Schedule:

  • Rotating shifts required, including every third weekend

Example Schedule Rotations:

  • Shift 1: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
  • Shift 2: Monday Friday, 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
  • Shift 3: Monday Thursday, 10:00 AM 6:30 PM; Saturday, 11:30 AM 7:00 PM
  • Shift 4: Sunday, 11:30 AM 7:00 PM; Tuesday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM

Additional Job Description

High school diploma or equivalent (GED), with 1 year of customer service experience. Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations preferred. Previous experience with hospital information systems or word processing preferred.
