RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work shift options: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Friday or 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM Monday through Thursday
• 1:1 patient ratios in operating room setting
• Work with 11 operating rooms and 1 endoscopy suite
• Operate multiple types of orthopedic beds and 4 robotic surgical systems
• Use MEDITECH electronic medical record system
• Assist with various surgical procedures including general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, trauma, neurosurgery, spine, ENT, and bariatrics
• Work alongside team of 45 staff members including charge nurses, RNs, and surgical technicians
• Required certification: BLS
• Preferred qualifications: BSN and CNOR certification
• Must demonstrate high energy and motivation
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Rotating weekend calls required
• No floating to other units

This medical center operates a comprehensive surgical department featuring 11 operating rooms and an endoscopy suite. The facility is equipped with advanced surgical technology including multiple robotic systems and specialized orthopedic equipment. The surgical department performs a wide range of procedures across multiple specialties and maintains a dedicated team of experienced surgical professionals committed to providing high-quality perioperative care.
