You manage orders, resolve billing questions, provide quotes, and maintain communication that keeps customers informed and supported at every step.Your responsiveness, accuracy, and professionalism ensure that critical water and wastewater projects stay on track — and that customers know they can rely on Xylem.️ What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth order processing, customer satisfaction, and timely delivery:Customer Service & CommunicationRespond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries across multiple channels.Provide legendary customer service that builds strong, trusting relationships.Order Management & CoordinationProcess orders ranging from quick‑ship to complex, long‑cycle orders.Maintain accurate order details and proactively follow up on order backlog.Coordinate with other departments regarding shipping dates, pricing, availability, and backorders.Maintain complete and organized virtual customer files.Billing & Issue ResolutionInvestigate and resolve billing issues and discrepancies, partnering with A/R teams when needed.Sales SupportProvide pricing, availability, formal quotes, and pre‑/post‑order support for standard and specialty products.Support the sales team with documentation, updates, and customer insights.Additional ResponsibilitiesAssist with internal process improvements and cross‑functional collaboration.Support workflow accuracy, efficiency, and positive customer outcomes.Location & Work StyleLocation: Mira Loma, CaliforniaEnvironment: Hybrid, cross‑functional, customer‑focusedTeam: Works closely with sales, operations, A/R, logistics, and customer teamsWho Thrives in This RoleYou’ll be successful if you:Love interacting with customers and solving problemsAre organized, detail‑oriented, and thrive in a fast‑paced environmentCommunicate clearly and confidently across teamsManage multiple priorities with accuracy and follow‑throughEnjoy supporting both internal and external stakeholdersWant a role where your work contributes to meaningful, real‑world impactWhat You BringHigh School diploma or equivalent1+ years of order management, customer service, or account management experienceExperience with billing, invoicing, quoting, or related tasksStrong computer skills, including Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to work with diverse teams and customersPreferred: Experience with Salesforce CRM, AS400, SAP S/4HANA, or SCPQ toolsExcellent organization, follow‑through, and problem‑solving abilitiesWhat We Offer:The estimated salary range for this position is $26 to $28/hour.
