POSITION Media Specialist BUILDING SITE
Highlands School REQUIREMENTS
- High School Diploma/GED Education
- Minimum 1-2 years of library media technology experience, to provide assistance to students and adults or equivalent working experience
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and in School District applications
- Experience or possess working knowledge in maintaining electronic student files in a School District setting
- Maintain an inventory of all library materials: audio, electronics, visual and circulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to unpack and pack boxes of books, materials and equipment
- Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs to maintain materials on shelves
- Able to rearrange the library by moving materials, equipment, seating areas and tables
- Able to monitor students' activities electronically and visually
