Key Qualifications:

Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar role supporting students in a school setting is highly valued
Ability to build rapport with students and collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff
Strong communication skills, patience, and adaptability
No specific credentials or certifications required

Responsibilities:

Assist classroom teachers with daily instruction and activities
Provide individualized or small group support to students, fostering a positive learning atmosphere
Aid in the implementation of classroom behavior and academic plans
Support students with special needs by following prescribed educational or behavioral strategies
Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all learners
Monitor student progress and communicate observations to the teaching team
