Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time, contract opportunity is situated in a vibrant school environment near Kingwood, TX. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues and families to foster student growth, deliver targeted instructional strategies, and help learners achieve their greatest potential.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid Special Education certification (SPED)
• Dyslexia certification strongly preferred
• Experience supporting students with learning differences, particularly those with dyslexia
• Willingness to obtain dyslexia certification if currently SPED certified (note: training provided, but not compensated)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to inclusive education and helping diverse learners thrive

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to students with special needs, including those identified with dyslexia
• Develop and adapt lesson plans and educational materials to support student learning goals
• Maintain thorough student records, progress reports, and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
• Work collaboratively with other educators, support staff, and families to create a positive, inclusive learning community
• Participate in meetings, staff development, and ongoing training as required
