About the Position

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology Physician for an outpatient opportunity in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The provider will focus on malignant hematology cases including leukemia and lymphoma , excluding bone marrow transplant patients. This role offers a structured weekday schedule with pager call responsibilities.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: Upon completion of credentialing

• Credentialing Timeline: 60+ days

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Call: Weeknight pager call 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM

• Practice Setting: Outpatient

• Compensation: Inquire for details

Clinical Responsibilities

• Manage leukemia, lymphoma, and malignant hematology cases

• Outpatient consultations and follow-ups

• No bone marrow transplant cases

• Participate in pager call coverage with call-back responsibilities

• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR

Requirements

Qualifications

• Board Certified – Required

• Active Pennsylvania Medical License – Required

• Pennsylvania DEA – Required

• BLS & ACLS Certifications – Required

• Self-Query NPDB (within 30 days of presentation) – Required
