It bridges academic studies to the complex legal challenges in the healthcare industry. Skills Legal Research Legal Analysis Document Preparation Contract Drafting Compliance Monitoring Regulatory Compliance Case Management Administrative Support Healthcare Law Corporate Legal Operations Policy Review Contract Management Roles and Responsibilities Conduct legal research on healthcare laws, regulations, and precedents, summarizing findings to aid decision making. Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and policy documents. Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations and monitor compliance programs. Review company policies for alignment with legal and regulatory standards. Assist in preparing materials for legal proceedings or internal reviews and maintain case files. Provide administrative support: schedule meetings, manage correspondence, and support the General Counsel’s office. Participate in corporate initiatives such as policy updates, training programs, and contract management protocols. Shadow the General Counsel in meetings and negotiations to gain practical insights. Requirements Preferred: Prior exposure to health law concepts through coursework or work experience. Not required. Qualifications: Attention to detail, strong written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
